Dirt: Can Help Us Grow!

Listen, most of us have heard the story about the "Old Goat" that fell into a hole. His owner didn't want to see him ( the goat) suffer any longer; so he decided to bury the old goat by throwing "Dirt" on him. But every time the owner threw "Dirt" on him (the goat); He (the goat) used the "Dirt" to take him higer. The owner threw sooo much "Dirt" on the goat until the goat was able to walk out of a hole that was deep enough to bury him... We still crying because people are throwing "Dirt" on us. Use that "Dirt" for your next (NOT level) but your next Dimension. ( Tell me what you think about "Dirt" now)  Be Encouraged!

Yes, I Need You!

I heard a song that says: "Long as I got King Jesus, I don't need nobody else." Listen, this song use to put me in a ZONE, It put me on a high, LOOK, it made me clap my hands and stomp my feet. Oh, how I loved to hear that song. It made me think that I could make it on this journey with Jesus alone: Until, one day I began to meditate on it and I started thinking; If I didn't need anybody else, Why did God create Adam and Eve? Why did His word say, that one (1) could put a Thousand to flight and two (2) can put Ten-Thousand to flight? Why did His word say, if two or three touch and agree asking anything in my name...? Why did His word say, if you are sick call for the elders and let them pray...? Why did His word say if your brother be overtaken in a fault ye which are spiritual restore him in the spirit of meekness? After meditating on this; y'all I realize that I (we) do need somebody else! Enough Is Enough

photo of WhistlerDon't allow anger, hurt, or hostility turn you into someone you are not. Don't harbor resentment toward others in your heart. Do you realize that when someone hurt you and you hold on to it... It causes you to think more about them( the one that hurt you ). Instead of thinking about them you should meditate more on excelling toward your next mountain top experience! Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?  till seven times? Jesus saith unto him I say not unto thee, until seven times: but, seventy times seven: Matthew 18:21-22... Be Encouraged

How Much Can I Take?

There was an individual complaining about her trials. She began to name them one by one, over and over again. (Now make no mistake about it her pain was real.) She was really having some serious issues! Then I could hear these words: Why do I have to go through so much pain? Listen, God's word clearly informs us that; in order to reign with Him, you must suffer with Him. Everybody wants to reign but NOBODY wants to suffer! Your suffering will not last always Be Encouraged!

He did it, why not me?

As I think about the goodness of Jesus Christ and all of the sacrifices He made for me... My mind, my heart, my inner most being want to CRY out: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It seems funny (not literally) to understand what Jesus gave up for you and me. But when it is our turn to give up something that the Lord is asking us to give up; we hesitate, contemplate, manipulate, and even decide not to participate. But Jesus was willing (even though He didn't want to He was still willing). Willing to go all the way to Calvary to endure Excruciating pains: nails in His hands and feet, a crown of thorns on His head, a spear in His side, being spit on, humiliated by hanging between two thieves, offered vinger to drink to cure a thirst etc... What a sacrifice! Even as I type this blog, I am emotionally overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. Viewers, join me as I seek to be in His perfect will. Be Encouraged!

Leaning on everlasting arms: There!

There!

The word "There" has various meanings, as a result of the various meanings "There" can be used in different ways to describe or make various points. I want to talk about an experience that I had the other day. It (the experience) made me realize that I want to get back "There"! I was thinking about the first time I seriously experienced God in my life. How my relationship with Him escalated at a very rapid paste. My life was changed almost totally. Life as I once knew it had vanished right before my eyes. You know how some church folk say, "I looked at my hand and they looked new and my feet did too" Well my body parts looked the same; but something got a hold of me and my attitude, my outlook at life and my lifestyle changed! Listen things that use to cause me discomfort, aches, pains, unforgiveness,etc... It changed. However, that's been about 13 years ago. I'm still saved, I still love God, I still enjoy living the life, but I know that it's not like it was when I was "There" when I use the word "There" I am in reference to (as defined by Webster's dictionary )"At that stage, moment, or point" Yes, I desire to get back "There" again. How I long to be back "There" again! I know that scripture says, if I delight myself in him (God) He will give me the desires of my Heart!
